Joshua Tree camping trip – Pt 1: Wall Street Mill Trail

Last weekend was Labour Day weekend here in the USA which means we get an extra day off (if you are in the UK this would be described as a Bank Holiday Weekend).

We decided to take our 1969 Travel Trailer (Caravan) for it’s first trip following the sprucing up we gave it earlier in the summer and decided on an area we have enjoyed before; Joshua Tree. This time we would be camping and we were also to be joined by some friends for the weekend. Continue reading “Joshua Tree camping trip – Pt 1: Wall Street Mill Trail”

Still here

Not sure but I think this old car is waiting to be rescued or at least for some attention.  Spotted it hiding in the trees in Joshua Tree

Palm Springs and Joshua Tree

A week or two ago we went on an unplanned visit to Palm Springs.  I say unplanned but with my girlfriend planning is a necessity as she can’t bare to not have as much lined up as possible.  It was unplanned because until a week earlier we had no intention of going there.  A close friend called the Sunday before and told us tat she had double booked herself at one of her timeshares and we could have a free weekend in a condo if we wanted… err yes of course we do! 35mm Film Shootist

Hi I'm Martin Smith, a amateur photographer that likes to shoot solely film. I use black & white with the odd colour image thrown in and mainly use a Leica M4-2 with Summicron 35mm and 50mm lenses. I tend to shoot anything I like, objects, scenes, landscape or street life.
