A few weeks ago I spotted a post about the plugin for lightroom that you can get from WordPress, here. I installed it and I must say it has made my life so much easier.
(by the way I am not paid or employed by WordPress)
Now I don’t have to; edit in lightroom, then export to storage, copy that to somewhere more portable where I can pick it up when I do the post (usually the next day) before importing it into WordPress for posting.
All I do now once I’m ready is export direct to WordPress where I find it already in my Media in WordPress when I wish to Publish. Great! 🙂
Thanks WordPress!

Oooo that is handy. I’ve used Flickr for years to host my images for WordPress, but I’m enormously anxious about Flickr’s future given Yahoo’s woes. So if I have to switch maybe this is a path for me.

It is. I use Flickr too, we’ll have to wait to see what the new owners do with it. I recently started using EyeEm as an alternative, it looks almost identical but doesn’t have the same feature set.
