Schwinn Continental

I picked up this bike a few months ago as an impulse buy as mentioned here.  I decided it was a bike too many especially after also buying the Centurion and decided to sell.

I have spent some time cleaning it up and lubricating but decided not to do a restoration as it is in great condition and as previously stated I don’t think it’s been ridden more than a couple of miles in it’s life.

Here are some before and after shots (before on the left); Continue reading “Schwinn Continental”

Bike #5 (or 6?) – Centurion Ironman Dave Scott Expert

As you may have already read here, I picked up another bike which means I currently have 6 in my ‘stable’ but I don’t expect that to be for long as I need to get rid of at least one of the others.

This is a steel bike from somewhere around 1987 and as you can see is quite bright. Continue reading “Bike #5 (or 6?) – Centurion Ironman Dave Scott Expert”

I guess I should talk about my bikes – it’s not really about them though is it

35mm Film Shootist

Hi I'm Martin Smith, a amateur photographer that likes to shoot solely film. I use black & white with the odd colour image thrown in and mainly use a Leica M4-2 with Summicron 35mm and 50mm lenses. I tend to shoot anything I like, objects, scenes, landscape or street life.
